Welcome to another issue of the Pfannenberg e-newsletter. Today we would like to introduce our new PTF (A) Top Filterfan® product line, available with
airflow capacities of 500m3/h, 700m3/h and 1000m3/h.

"Clicks and Fits" - patented easy-installation-system for a rapid, screwless PTF (A) Filterfan® installation
To make it as convenient as possible when it comes to the installation of Pfannenberg Top PTF (A) Filterfans®, the entire PTF (A) product line was tailored to fit the same cutout dimensions. This means, you can consider the dimensions of the cutout, without having to be sure about the cooling capacity finally being required.

First Top Filterfan® with true IP 54 rating - meeting the highest requirements regarding the safety of machinery
This time the integrated foam seal is not only fitted at the bottom of the filterfan carrier facing the enclosure, but also between both carriers and between the filter carrier and the hood. This additional safety feature in combination with new filtration materials and a unique condensate management inside the filter is providing the high IP 54 rating.

Using and supporting natural air convenction - ideal air flow
Warm air rises, cooler air decends - a rule of nature. Therefore the best way to ventilate hence air condition the enclosure is a top mounted filterfan in combination with a side mounted air intake at the bottom of the enclosure. Furthermore this greatest possible distance between air intake and outlet is not only eliminating the risk of hot spots but also providing a single temperature level inside the entire enclosure.
